ESC 1983 – The Participants

20 countries took part in the 1983 Eurovision Song Contest.

France, Greece and Italy all returned to the competition after temporary absences, but Ireland took a year out due to a TV company strike.

The 28th Eurovision Song Contest was held at the Rudi-Sedlmayer-Halle in Munich on 23 April 1983.
