“The flying dolphin is Yohanna” (Daði Freyr)

In yesterday’s Meet & Greet, Daði og Gagnamagnið were asked about the Eurovision references in their performance. The flying dolphin, as we now learned, is indeed a reference to the dolphin in Iceland 2009’s backdrop. The drums just before the synthesizer solo refer to those in “Wild Dances”, and the “circularly connected curvy keytars” are indeed inspired by the circular keyboard of Romania 2014.
