Roman Lob tonight won the German preselection for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, Unser Star für Baku, and will represent last year’s host country in Azerbaijan in May with the song “Standing Still”.
While UK fans are desperately waiting for news from the BBC, they may be either impressed or depressed to learn that “Standing Still” is co-composed by none other than cheeky jazz-popper Jamie Cullum.
