For the first time, we will hold a voting about the Melodifestivalen 2011 finalists.

Since most of us will be in Stockholm on the weekend, it would be interesting to know in advance what our common favourites are!

The results will be announced first on the Tuesday Show and afterwards on the website and in the chat topic.

But how to take part? We have 2 different ways to do this, please decide for only one: “jury” video voting or “televote” text voting. For each mode, you’d give us your votes as 1-12 points, esc-style.

For taking part please always (!) mention your nickname in the chat, especially for the case you are not a regular chatter.

Video voting:

If you want to appear as judge on the Tuesday Show (on youtube, “not listed”), please send us a video of you reading your votes 1-12 as .mov or .mpg file, no longer than max. 45 seconds. As a video judge, feel free to also tell us the city you are voting from.

In addition, please also send your votes in text form, for the case the video can’t be received or shown. Send your video file and your text in an email to info@esc-chat.com – video vote deadline is Sunday, 23:59 CET.

If the video is longer than 45 seconds, or if it hurts copyrights of others, or comes later than the deadline, your video won’t get shown, but we will still count your votes as a Text voting.

If we have technical problems with including the videos in general, we might skip the whole concept of the videos (and still count your votes), please understand this is a first-time-experiment so things like that can go wrong 🙂

Text voting:

If you don’t want to appear in a video on the Tuesday Show, please send us an email with your votes 1-12 as plain text. to info@esc-chat.com – text vote deadline is Monday, 23:59 CET.

The text votes won’t be read out as single vote sets, but will be added as total points to the previous video votes. If there are no video votings (due to whatever reason), we will only read out the total points of each entry.

The lines are open as soon as the last qualifiers to Globen have been announced tonight at Andra Chansen.

The last lines close at Sunday respective Monday at 23:59 CET.
