This Saturday: Swiss National Final

by | Dec 10, 2011 | Uncategorized

“Die große Entscheidungsshow” is the first national final to pick a country’s song for Baku. The show in the swiss city of Kreuzlingen is attracting a lot of attention from Eurovision fans all over the world, not only because it’s the opener of the season, but also because it features one of the biggest names in Eurovision history: Lys Assia. The 87-year-old was the winner of the first Eurovision ever, back in Lugano in 1956. Her participation in Baku would represent the most sensational comeback in Eurovision history. Will she win, or will one of the other 13 entries get the ticket for Azerbaijan?
