Latvia: Results of semi 1

by | Jan 8, 2012 | Uncategorized

Five songs qualified in yesterday’s first semi-final in Latvia. Together with the next five qualifiers from semi 2, they will compete in the Latvian national final on Saturday, 18 February. The results were made up by both televoting and juries. The chat’s top 3 all qualified for the final.

The show was hosted by Kristine Virsnite and Valters Fridenbergs, member of Walters & Kazha (Latvia 2005).

The qualifiers:

  • Samanta Tina & Davids Kalandija – I want you back
  • Paula Dukure – Celebration
  • Andris Abelite – We can change the world
  • Ruta Duduma – My world
  • Group ‘PeR’ – Disco Superfly

From our own voting in the chat, the top 3 songs all made it into the final. Remarkably, though, our second least favourite also qualified!

Full results of the ChatVote (thanks to TommyE):

  1. Paula Dukure – Celebration (7.14 points average)
