Germany: Results of 3rd show

by | Jan 27, 2012 | Uncategorized

Unser Star für Baku narrowed the field from ten down to 8 remaining participants. Rachel and Leonie were the ones missing out yesterday. Next week, another two candidates will be voted out of the contest.

In the meantime, the voting system is being heavily criticized by many German viewers. Until the last few seconds, ranks between the 3rd and the 10th were exchanging constantly, making it rather a matter of luck than a matter of popularity/talent to decide whether an artist stays in the show or gets “voted” out. While the producers of the show try to sell the concept with the “Blitztabelle” as “exciting”, many viewers are expressing their anger on social media and in TV forums and even consider to stop watching the show. It’s quite common sense now, that Unser Star für Baku doesn’t play in the same league as Unser Star für Oslo did.
