Ukraine goes for Gaitana

by | Feb 18, 2012 | Uncategorized

The singer Gaitana won the Ukrainian national final this morning and will represent the country in Baku with the song “Be My Guest”.

In the voting (which was a combination of juries and televoting), she achieved 41 points, leaving fan favourite Max Barskih in 2nd place with 38 points, followed by Oksana Nesterenko (35 points).

The energetic song remotely reminds a bit of David Guetta’s “When Love Takes Over”. Gaitana will present her song in the second semi-final of the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Baku.
