This Saturday: Belgium decides!

by | Mar 17, 2012 | Uncategorized

Throughout this season, esc-chat.com has been bringing you articles summarising all of the national finals taking place on a certain day, with comprehensive song lists, stream links and starting times to help you navigate as many as half-a-dozen near-simultaneous events.

As such, it comes as something of a relief to announce that Belgium will select its entry in the only such event taking place tonight – and with a line-up of just one singer and two songs!

In a special show starting at 20:00 CET, 17-year-old Iris will sing “Safety Net” and “Would You?”, after which the public will decide on its favourite by televote. The results will be announced later in the evening, at approximately 22:50 CET, during the subsequent Vrienden Van de Veire talk show.

The show will be streamed live at eurovision.tv.

And even if there are only two entries, we’ll be conducting our usual live vote to discover the chatroom’s favourite – so be sure to pop in and join us!
