Yesterday (Thursday) saw the first night of the 51st Festivali i Këngës. It’s the 40th anniversary of the noteworthy 11th edition of the contest. This year, after each of the commercial breaks, RTSH commemorates the event with small clips from FiK 1972 and a song sung by a famous Albanian singer. Yesterday, Luiz Ejlli, Juliana Pasha and Mariza Ikonomi did such a performance, outside of the contest.
The qualifiers of the semi-final were:

- Xheni & Enxhi Kumrija – Arti i një fundi
The winner of the ChatVote was Rezarta Smaja.
