Albania is “in”, Festivali i Këngës dates announced

After having kept us in suspense until today, Albanian broadcaster RTSH now finally confirmed that the country will participate at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna, Austria. Furthermore, the dates for the upcoming Festivali i Këngës got announced. The traditional Albanian song festival is now in its 53rd year, and will once again be used to determine the Albanian Eurovision entry. It will take place on three consecutive days:

Friday, 26 December: First night
Saturday, 27 December: Second night
Sunday, 28 December: Final

At the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, Albania’s entrant Hersi Matmuja and her song One Night’s Anger failed to reach the grand final.
