Montenegro sends Knez to Vienna 2015

by | Oct 31, 2014 | Uncategorized

The first artist for Eurovision 2015 has been revealed in a press conference (click for original Montenegrin article).

Knez, a very popular singer, will represent Montenegro in Vienna. His musical style can be described as pop with a regional touch. The song that he will compete with will be revealed at a later point and may be taken from his new album that is scheduled for release in the near future.

Knez was born in 1967 as Nenad Knežević. He has already released many albums in his career and is also well known in Croatia, Macedonia and Serbia. His first attempt to go to Eurovision was in 2004, when he finished 17th at Evropesma, the former national final of what was then the still united Serbia & Montenegro.

Montenegro most recently finished 19th in the final in Copenhagen, where Sergej Ćetković competed with his song Moj svijet – the first time the Balkan nation had reached the Saturday night grand final as an independent nation.
