The visual identity for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest that will support the slogan “Building Bridges” has been presented today. It contains a sphere and a wave of dots. Jon Ola Sand, Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest, is happy with the artwork and says: “It is a great logo, a strong sign with recognition value and endless possibilities.

The artwork was developed by ORF. Dr. Alexander Wrabetz, the broadcaster’s Director General, comments: “A big advantage of the Sphere is the versatility because it is suitable for both dynamic screen design as well as any analog use. I am particularly pleased that the graphic appearance was developed by a great team in-house.

The artwork indeed seems highly versatile for a lot of uses, and it already feels very dynamic. We are curious to see it animated on screen!

What do you think about the visual identity for Vienna 2015?
