Today: Belarusian final, Albanian semi-final 1

by | Dec 26, 2014 | Uncategorized

Tonight, two countries are hosting a show as part of their selection process for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. While Belarus holds the third national final of the season (after Macedonia and Malta), Albania kicks off its traditional Festivali i Këngës with the first semi-final.

In Belarus, 15 entrants compete to win the right to represent their country in Vienna. The voting involves jury (7 members) and televoting (counting as much as 1 jury member).

In Albania, the 53rd Festivali i Këngës will be launched with the first semi-final, as the first of three shows on three consecutive nights. Tonight, 13 out of 26 songs will be competing, in the hope to qualify for the Grand Final on Sunday.

You can find all the details of the shows on the right-hand side (tabs sorted in alphabetic order). Further down, you can toggle between “Today” and “Calendar” view.

Don’t forget to join us in the #esc chat, where we’ll be watching, talking about and voting on the shows.
Tonight’s songs will also compete to qualify for our own SongHunt. The scores given to each song by our chatters will have an influence on which songs will qualify for heat 1, to be launched on Sunday night. Click here to read everything about SongHunt!
