Poland presents Monika Kuszyńska for ESC 2015

by | Mar 9, 2015 | Uncategorized

The Polish entry for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest will be “In The Name Of Love” by Monika Kuszyńska.

The song and singer, both of whom have been internally selected by broadcaster TVP, were presented in a dedicated show this evening. 35-year-old Kuszyńska, who has been wheelchair-bound since a traffic accident in 2006, is well-known as the lead singer of rock band Varius Manx – who themselves participated in the Polish national final in 2003.

You can watch the video of the song below:

After two years away from the contest, Poland returned to ESC last year, with Donatan and Cleo’s visually memorable stage performance reaching 14th place in the grand final – and notably placing 5th with Europe’s televoters. At ESC 2015, Poland will compete in the second half of the semi-final on Thursday 21 May.
