Another duet for ESC 2015: “A Monster Like Me” wins in Norway!

by | Mar 14, 2015 | Uncategorized

“A Monster Like Me” by Mørland & Debrah Scarlett will defend the Norwegian colours at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna after winning tonight’s Melodi Grand Prix.

The four-artist superfinal was a duet-heavy affair, with the eventual winners being joined in the run-off by Staysmann & Lazz and veterans Tor & Bettan – as well as the only soloist, Erlend Bratland. In a 100% televoting decision, it was the dramatic ballad “A Monster Like Me” that won over the voting public in the end – although it came down to the very last set of votes in a to-and-fro battle with Erlend’s “Thunderstruck”!

Mørland & Debrah Scarlett were also our favourites in the #esc chat, where they got an average score of 7.42 out of 10.

At ESC 2015, Norway will compete in the first half of the second semi-final on Thursday 21 May. You can see the music video of the winning song below:
