Running order for ESC 2015 semi-finals revealed!

by | Mar 23, 2015 | Uncategorized

Today, the producers of the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest revealed the running order for the semi-finals.

As in the past two years, the order of performance was determined not by a random draw, but by the producers themselves with the approval of the EBU’s Executive Supervisor and Reference Group, the aim being to provide a more balanced and entertaining flow for the shows. The participating countries had already been assigned to the first or second half of the respective semi-final in the allocation draw on 26 January.

As announced today, Moldova will open the first semi-final on Tuesday 19 May, with Georgia closing the running order. Meanwhile, the second semi-final on Thursday 21 May will start with the duet from Lithuania and end with the ballad from Poland.

You can see the full draw below. It was also announced that, subject to change, the advertising breaks will be after songs 5 and 12 in both shows.
