After Cyprus and Malta, Macedonia is now the third country within a few days to announce the details for their national final to select an entry for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest – despite broadcaster MRT having held a poll on its website in which a clear majority of the voters wanted the country to withdraw from ESC altogether.
According to MRT, the date for the Macedonian final is Wednesday 12 November. The event will form part of Skopje Festival 2014. In the final, twenty entries will be presented to the public. The results will be determined by an international jury and televoting (50/50 decision).
Macedonia failed to reach the final in Copenhagen, as Tijana’s song To The Sky only achieved 13th place in the second semi-final.
