It’s Nordic overload this Saturday, as Denmark chooses its representative for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest and the selection procedures continue in Norway and Iceland.
The Danish final will be held in Herning and features some familiar faces for ESC fans, not least 2009 representative Brinck, although a repeat victory is not on the cards if the bookmakers are to be believed.
Meanwhile, Florø in Norway could be the scene of more shocks following last week’s first semi-final in Steinkjer – Margaret Berger is the clear fan favourite, but will she also fail to make it through to the grand final?
In the battle of the former Icelandic participants, last night’s first semi-final saw Birgitta qualify for the final but Yohanna fail to make it through. Tonight we will discover the next three qualifiers; an optional producers’ wildcard will then decide whether there are seven or just six songs in the final.
