It’s one of the first pieces of news about the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest season: Cyprus will be back at the contest next year!
As broadcaster CyBC announced, a big national final will be held in order to choose the country’s song for Austria. The selection process will include auditions, semi-finals, a “second chance” show and a grand final. Below, you can watch the trailer for the new Cypriot selection format.
Cyprus took a break from ESC in 2014; their most recent entry was in 2013 (Despina Olympiou – An me thimase).
