Maltese broadcaster PBS recently announced that the country will select its entry for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in November 2014 already.
Just one week after the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is being hosted by Malta this year, the island state’s national final will be held on the 21st (semi-final) and 22nd November (grand final). It will take place at the same venue as JESC – presumably using more or less the same stage, considering the proximity of the events. The result will be determined by a combination of jury and televoting, in a somewhat unconventional ratio of 6:1.
At the 2014 contest in Copenhagen, Malta finished 23rd with Firelight and their song Coming Home.
