Today: Hungary, Heat 1

by | Jan 24, 2015 | Uncategorized

Tonight, A Dal kicks off in Hungary! Now in its fourth year, the popular format will be once again used to choose the country’s entry for Eurovision. As we reported earlier, A Dal will have six live shows (three heats, two semi-finals and one grand final).

The first round of the voting takes place after the performances of each song: The four jury members will give their score (1-10) for each entry, while a fifth score will be calculated from the A Dal 2015 App that everyone around the globe can use. The five songs with the highest scores will qualify for the semi-finals. From the five remaining songs, the sixth qualifier will be decided by SMS voting (also available for international fans). For more instructions about how you can participate in the A Dal voting, see this article on ESCBubble.

You can find all the details of tonight’s show on the right-hand side. Further down, you can toggle between “Today” and “Calendar” view.

Don’t forget to join us in the #esc chat, where we’ll be watching, talking about and voting on the show.
Tonight’s songs will also compete to qualify for our own SongHunt. The scores given to each song by our chatters will have an influence on which songs will qualify for the next heat, to be launched tomorrow night.
