Tonight sees the second elimination heat in Finland’s preselection for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu.
Like last week, six songs will be competing for the favour of an expert jury and the televoting public, each of which will have a 50% say in the outcome.
Two lucky winners will proceed to the grand final on 9th February, where they will compete alongside the direct qualifiers from the first elimination show, Diandra (“Colliding Into You”) and Mikael Saari (“We Should Be Through”).
The next three songs on the results table will proceed to a semi-final to be held on 31st January – while the song ending in last place will, as the name suggests, be eliminated from the competition altogether.
The show begins at 20:00 CET, although the webstream will show backstage material from 19:45 CET. Join the chat for the fun!
