The 2014 Eurovision Song Contest will be hosted by Lise Rønne, Nikolaj Koppel and Pilou Asbæk.
Rønne and Koppel have a background in television presenting with host broadcaster DR, while Asbæk is known to international viewers for his role as Kasper Juul in the Danish TV political drama series “Borgen”.

Meanwhile, the conversion of B&W Hallerne, the venue for the 2014 contest, is well underway. The distinctive former industrial and shipbuilding complex is being turned a “Eurovision Island” for the continent’s favorite music competition, with restaurants, bars and an entertainment stage.
As the name suggests, the “island” nature of the location means that the audience will have the unique opportunity of taking a boat from central Copenhagen to reach the venue – although more conventional modes of transport will also be available!
