Following two years of internal selections, Georgian broadcaster GPB has announced that the Caucasian nation will return to having a national final to select its entry for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.
The date for the final is Wednesday, January 14th, with submissions being accepted until December 20th. The lucky winner of the ticket to Vienna will be chosen by a combination of televoting and an international jury.
The 2014 Georgian representatives, The Shin & Mariko, may have finished last in their semi-final, but their sky-diving, space-jumping entry “Three Minutes To Earth” remains one of the most fondly remembered cult moments of the last Eurovision season.
