Tonight, the new format of the German final gets launched (also read our in-depth article about it here).
Anke Engelke, who is very popular among Eurovision fans since she co-hosted ESC 2011 in Düsseldorf, will be tonight’s host. Twelve songs will fight for the ticket to Malmö, which will be decided by a combined voting of radio listeners (internet) voting, sms / televoting and the expert jury which consists of 5 people.
The favourites are Söhne Mannheims (biggest national name), Cascada (biggest international name), Betty Dittrich and Ben Ivory.
The stream on eurovision.de will start with a special programme already at 18:45 and will continue after the show with reactions from the venue and the winner’s press conference.
