Tonight sees the 12th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest – usually a little treat as the ESC off-season draws to a close, but of course the Macedonian final on Wednesday night means the 2015 on-season has already begun!
Having won last year’s competition, this year’s event for the singing children of Europe is being hosted by Malta, which is organising the show at the “Malta Shipbuilding” venue in Marsa – which will immediately be reused next weekend to select the island nation’s entry for the adult ESC in 2015.
With efforts being made to attract more participants this year, a total of 16 countries will line up in tonight’s competition, which begins at 19:00 CET and will be streamed live on the official Junior Eurovision website.
