Uzari & Maimuna win Belarusian Final

by | Dec 26, 2014 | Uncategorized

Uzari & Maimuna won the national final in Belarus with the song “Time“.

The duet was one out of 15 entrants in tonight’s final. A jury of 7 members, and a televoting counting as much as 1 jury member, finally decided who’s supposed to represent Belarus in Vienna.

However, things won’t necessarily stay as they are, as Belarus  – more than once – had replaced the song, or even the artist(s), for the actual submission for Eurovision.

In the #esc chatroom, Tasha Odi won the voting with the song “Giving Up Your Love“, with an average score of 7.67 points. Uzari & Maimuna finished 5th (5.83 points).

In the grand final of the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest, “Cheesecake” by TEO ended up in 16th place.
